WE are here to help you navigate through this journey called Life with Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior (I request you to obtain the Holy Bible so that you can read the references here)

Now, who are these “WE”? They are the three in one: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Now, I, the teacher appointed by His grace to guide you to eternal life, with the help of the Holy Spirit residing within me (and within you when you are born again, as you did when you said the Salvation prayer).

You are now Born Again. In John 3:3, “Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.

LIFE

Dear believer, let us now look at the three aspects of life. As I mentioned earlier, God is three in one (triune God!) and they are God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:16-17 After his baptism, as Jesus came up out of the water, the heavens were opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and settling on him. And a voice from heaven said, “This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy.” and 1 John 5:7-8 So we have these three witnesses. the Spirit, the water and the blood and all three agree.)

And now let’s look at the Human Being:

A human being comprises three in one life, a human being has a Spirit and has a Soul living in a Physical body (1 Thessalonians. 5:23 Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again). This is the trichotomy of the human make. So now let’s look at the three time periods of a human being’s life. They comprise the Past, Present and Future.

Let’s look at the Past:

As we all know, the moments passed away in our lives will never come back and even we can’t change whatever we did. We cannot rectify any mistakes we made in the Past. In other words, we cannot change our Past. But we are still accountable.

Let’s look at the Present:

As we all know that the present moment is the one full of action. Whatever we can do we have to do in the Present. The Present is the only time period in our lives full of decisions and actions. So we know that now is the moment to make the right decisions, followed by the right actions.

Let’s look at the Future:

As human beings, we all try to build a plan for our future lives. Though our future exists, we do not know what comes next. Good, bad, evil, all are there in our future lives. Even if the future life is not seen, yet we have to make better decisions to have a better Future . All human beings want to have a better future. So let’s elaborate on how to build our future.

As it is written in 1 Corinthians 4:18, “Some of you have become arrogant, thinking I will not visit you again”.

Future Eternal Life:

Jesus explains the way to eternal life in John 14:1-6 , “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. And you know the way to where I am going.” “No, we don’t know, Lord,” Thomas said. “We have no idea where you are going, so how can we know the way?” Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”

Christ Jesus is building our future with great love for us. He is preparing an Eternal mansion. HE IS THE ONLY WAY to this eternal life. Here we note that things which are seen now are temporary and eternal life which is not seen is permanent.

But in the past we were messed up. We were born sinners, disobedient to God. Adam and Eve sinned and introduced sin into our very nature.

When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.” Romans 5:12

“ For everyone has sinned; we fall short of God’s glorious standard.” Romans 3:23

“You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil—the commander of the powers in the unseen world. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God. All of us used to live that way, following the passionate desires and inclinations of our sinful nature. By our very nature we were subject to God’s anger, just like everyone else.” Ephesians 2:2-3

Lets Examine our Lives:

When we wholeheartedly, honestly examine our lives, we know that our nature is to do all those things that our flesh/nature prompts us to do. The works of the flash are explained in Gal. 5:19-21, “When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

So we have no escape from this wretched way of life and we cannot enter into the kingdom of God no matter how much we try to be good, WE CAN’T.

And I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. I want to do what is right, but I can’t. I want to do what is good, but I don’t. I don’t want to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway. But if I do what I don’t want to do, I am not really the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it. I have discovered this principle of life—that when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong. I love God’s law with all my heart. But there is another power within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me. Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death?” Rom. 7:18-24

So now how can we come out of this wretchedness, where I cannot do it on my own or in other words who shall deliver me from this body of death. As we now know that we cannot fix our mistakes or sins of the past, yet we have to pay the penalty for the sins we committed. But we are unable to do so as we in the present moment continue to sin and its a great burden on our lives to clean up or pay for every sin we commit. Therefore, our future is dark and our present moment is full of bondages and shackles of sin. Thus we need help: ONLY JESUS CHRIST:Why? Because it’s only Jesus Christ who was born from above, died on the cross by shedding his blood.

In fact, according to the law of Moses, nearly everything was purified with blood. For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness.” Heb. 9:22

And then His body was buried. On the third day, He rose again (resurrected). Now He is alive and seen present with His disciples. He then was ascended seen by the disciples. And promised to come back to judge the world and reward His followers. This is the only way to salvation for mankind.

“Let me clearly state to all of you and to all the people of Israel that he was healed by the powerful name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, the man you crucified but whom God raised from the dead. For Jesus is the one referred to in the Scriptures, where it says, ‘The stone that you builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.’ There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:10-12

It is our faith in this finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross that qualifies us to enter into the kingdom of God.

Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.” Rom. 3:24

What a great love of God, this SALVATION is the FREE GIFT OF GOD.

Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone.” Rom. 5:18

What should we do then in this PRESENT MOMENT to secure our future.

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” Rom. 6:23

Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.” John 14:1

“Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God.” Mark 11:22

Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the man, “Young man, your sins are forgiven”.” Luke 5:20

Now we read in the scriptures that eternal life is only through Jesus Christ and only when we believe  and obey to follow Him.

“”For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. “There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.”John 3:16-21

You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil—the commander of the powers in the unseen world. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God.” Eph 2:2

But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus.” Eph 2:4-7

Only through Lord Jesus Christ we have redemption.

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.” Eph 2:8-9

So now after we are examining ourselves, we notice that we were born of flesh, therefore sinners, and if we continue that way it will be death to us, meaning our soul (which understands and feels everything) will enter into the everlasting Lake of Fire. In other words, there will be great agony and there will be no escape. But God rich in mercy and his great love made a way for us by sending His son, Jesus Christ for the propitiation of our sins.

This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.” 1 John 4:10

For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past.” Rom. 3:25

Now our faith in God, that Jesus Christ came from above, was made flesh and dwelt among us and was sacrificed by death on the cross and rose again (resurrected) on the third day and ascend to heaven and is coming back.

But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God. So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.” John 1:12-14

Your faith in this present moment, of this action of Jesus Christ, translates you from the doomed past to the glorious future where your soul will have fullness of joy. Which means we have to be born again or born from above or born of the Spirit so that we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.” Gal. 5:16

I want to share a few scriptures on how to be born again:

John 3:3-7 “Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.” “What do you mean?” exclaimed Nicodemus. “How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?” Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. So don’t be surprised when I say, ‘You must be born again.’”

Eph. 2:4-6 But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.

Eph. 2:8-9 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.

Rom. 10:8-10 “In fact, it says, “The message is very close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart.” And that message is the very message about faith that we preach: If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.

Scriptures regarding “justified”:

Now by his grace (unmerited favor) through your faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross and your confession with your mouth, you are born again, meaning you are justified by faith, i.e you are made the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Cor. 5:21 For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.)

Rom. 3:28 “So we are made right with God through faith and not by obeying the law.

Rom. 5:1 Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.

Rom. 5:9-10 And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation. For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son.

Gal. 2:16 Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law.

Titus 3:7  Because of his grace he made us right in his sight and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life.

Conclusion:

I understand and agree I am a sinner by nature. Now I know Jesus paid for my sins by sacrificing His life on the cross. And now I have to be BORN AGAIN by repenting of my sins by believing in Jesus Christ and confess with my mouth that God has raised Jesus from the dead.

Now I know that I am Born Again and my eternal Life is sealed by the Holy Spirit: So I am justified, which means now I am the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

As you embark on this journey within the kingdom of God, the Holy Spirit will provide you with all the assistance you need to be sanctified. Sanctification means being set apart for the service in God’s kingdom. This growth in your life will lead you to develop grace and faith, ultimately reaching glory until we meet our Savior.
